Introducing the 'Trend Skeleton Two-Part Hinge Jig' - the ultimate tool for precise and efficient door hinge installation. Engineered as a versatile and adjustable block template set, this portable device is perfect for embedding hinges in wooden doors and frames using a plunge router.
Not only is it simple to operate and set up, but it also works swiftly and accurately, streamlining tasks on the job site or in the joinery shop. This efficient tool significantly raises productivity levels while delivering outstanding results every time.
Designed with full adjustment capabilities, it caters to fire door prerequisites and restorative work. Suitable for both internal and external doors, rebated frames, and up to 25mm thick fixed stops. It's also an efficient solution for fitting new doors into existing frames, eliminating the need for traditional marking methods.
Experience quick and easy setup as the hinge itself serves as the pattern. Consequently, each process results in clean and precise recesses. Specifically developed for timber-based doors and square butt hinges, it functions optimally with a light-duty plunge router featuring a 1/4 inch collet. To achieve superior results, a long reach router cutter, with a 12mm diameter and 70mm overall length, is necessary.
The jig comes with adjustable edge guides preset for hinges of 20mm, 25mm, and 30mm. For certain routers, a Unibase may be required.
