Capable of supplying up to 85 Nm of torque, the Ryobi R18PD7 is one of the most powerful combi drills manufactured for the DIY market. To ensure the user maintains a secure grip on the tool it is supplied with an auxiliary handle which can be mounted on either side of the machine for left or right handed use, and features a depth stop for drilling to a predetermined depth. The energy efficient brushless motor in the R18PD7 runs down batteries much slower than traditional designs and means you can get more work done before needing to recharge; combined with a ONE+ lithium ion battery, which will hold most of its charge for long periods in storage, runtime is unlikely to be an issue for the average DIYer, especially if used with high capacity batteries like the 5.0ah RB18L50. Other features include an all-metal 13mm keyless chuck, 2 gears, a 24-position clutch, integrated LED worklight and a bit storage clip. As a combi drill, the R18PD7 is suitable for a wide range of applications: switch on hammer mode for drilling into bricks and masonry or switch it off for drilling into wood, plastic and metal or for driving screws. The adjustable clutch gives you 24 torque positions for driving different sizes of screws flush to the surface, or for optimum drilling conditions. This product is supplied without a battery or charger but as part of the Ryobi ONE+ cordless platform it shares battery compatibility with over 125 tools for the home and garden. It is compatible with batteries and chargers from any other Roybi ONE+ li-ion cordless tool. Batteries and chargers are also available separately if you require them.
