Italian glass lampshade, Norwegian design: Say my name hanging light 

When Scandinavian design meets Italian craftsmanship, the result is a product such as the Say my name hanging light from the Norwegian lighting manufacturer Northern. Morten & Jonas, two designers from Bergen, are responsible for designing Say my name and have employed Venetian glass blowers to manufacture the glass lampshade. The matt lampshade with a puristic shape gives the light a soft and cosy nuance. Behind the matt glass, you can only see a hint of the light bulb, which is not completely concealed.

Every “Say my name” light is a unique piece due to the production by hand. It has to satisfy certain standards in terms of the shape and colour, but is never 100 % the same as another light in the same series.
