A light and pen holder combined: desk lamp Buddy

The desk lamp Buddy is a good friend, i.e. a “buddy”, to all who spend a lot of time at their desk and need not only light, but also a suitable container for their pens and other utensils which are lying around on the desk. At the base of the light, which is made entirely from steel, there is a pen holder – in the same colour as the rest of the light. The lampshade, which can be adjusted thanks to the joint, has a similar shape to the pen holder.

The style of the desk lamp Buddy, which was designed by the Danish designer Mads Sætter-Lassen can be described as puristic, modern and Scandinavian. With Buddy, Sætter-Lassen won the Northern Lighting Student Design Award in 2015. He describes Buddy as “the little helper that everyone needs”.
