Suspension lamp Sipuli - Design classics of mouth-blown glass

Designed in 1954 by designer and interior designer Lisa Johansson-Pape, the Sipuli pendant lamp is a timeless lighting object that still matches various interior styles many decades later and is convincing in terms of both quality and aesthetics.

The onion-shaped lampshade - Sipuli means onion in German - is made of mouth-blown opal glass and allows a glare-free light that falls down in a targeted manner on the one hand and is also emitted into the surroundings on the other.

The pendant lamp Sipuli is nowadays produced and distributed by the Finnish lighting manufacturer Innolux. Innolux is known for its wide range of Scandinavian lighting design, as the company has design classics from the 1950s and 1960s as well as contemporary lamps in its range.
