Levitate pendant lamp with an aluminium shade

With the beautifully shaped shade and the brass detail that seems to float in the shade and also gave the Levitate pendant lamp its name, the lamp reflects the purist approach of its designers. The Stockholm-based design studio Afteroom designed the Levitate lamp series.

The diffuser, which sits in the shade above the milled brass knob, is made of handmade glass and provides glare-free lighting. As the aluminium shade is opaque, the luminosity is concentrated downwards, so that tables and counters in living and dining areas are excellently illuminated.

Afteroom is a design studio founded by Taiwan-born designers Hung-Ming Chen and Chen-Yen Wei, whose mission is to create beautiful products that add value over time. The Afteroom design studio creates products with a design that you can grow old with.
