The glass pendant luminaire bench makes itself optically an absolute highlight - even when it is switched off - and can be easily integrated into different furnishing styles.

The hand-blown lampshade is designed in the shape of a hemisphere. The opal glass surface ensures that the light is distributed widely and glare-free in the living room. Thus Bank creates a soft and inviting atmosphere. The luminaire is attached to the canopy by means of a steel wire. The lampholder is well protected against corrosion because it is made of anodised aluminium. This means that a chemical reaction is used to transform the metal surface so that a thin oxide layer is formed, which provides this protection.

The founders of Norm Architects draw their artistic inspiration primarily from the field of residential architecture. The concept of the Bank series was born when the two Danish designers Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen and Kasper Rønn travelled to Manhattan, where they noticed a vintage lamp in the middle of the big city flair. In their creations, they focus above all on creating a visual balance between architecture and design. The results of their high-quality work are light sources that blend timeless minimalism and aesthetics.
