The three-bulb hanging light The Bouquet: inspired by tulips

The Bouquet is a hanging light with three beautifully shaped and hand-pleated white lampshades, with a small oak wood detail on top. Their shape is reminiscent of tulips that are in full bloom. These delicate floral shapes are combined with rustic details as the power cables are covered with natural-coloured linen and interwoven by hand. This enables you to arrange the lampshades as a bouquet of flowers as you wish, and the viewer can create a bouquet that looks right in his or her living room. The cross-pleats of the lampshades mean that the light from the light bulbs can be emitted particularly effectively and warmly.

This decorative eye-catcher, combined with energy-saving light technology, was designed by Sinja Svarrer Damkjær, a young designer who specialises in industrial design. Working for the Danish lighting manufacturer LE KLINT, she was inspired by florists at an Italian weekly market, who arranged tulips into loose bouquets. She reinterpreted the traditional cross-pleats for the The Bouquet series.

LE KLINT was founded in 1943. It is based in Denmark and is known throughout the world thanks to the craftsmanship and the pleated lampshades of the company’s founder P. V. Jensen-Klint.
