The BCBLV36 is a cordless garden vacuum and leaf blower on the Black & Decker 36v Lithium battery platform. Battery power gives you the freedom to work all over your garden without the constraints of power leads or the hassle of petrol - simply recharge your battery in between uses and you're always good to go. What's more, as the BCBLV36 is part of the Black & Decker 36v Lithium system, the same battery can be used to power other tools in the range, including grass trimmers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, lawnmowers and vacuum cleaners. Ideal for clearing driveways, pavements, patios, gardens, lawns and flower beds, the BCBLV36 can be used as both a vacuum and a blower, and switching between the two modes is simply a case of flipping a lever - there are no components to disassemble and no additional tools to become lost in between uses. This helps to keep frustration to a minimum and ensures you can quickly swap between blowing leaves into a pile and picking up stragglers whenever you like. In vacuum mode, guide wheels at the end of the nozzle let you relieve strain on the arms by rolling the machine along the floor, and the shredding fan compacts waste down at a ratio of 10:1 so it can be easily handled and transported. The 45 litre collection bag will comfortably hold a large volume of debris and when you want to empty it, simply unclip the bag and tip it out. Equipped with an energy efficient brushless motor for longer runtimes, the BCBLV36 also incorportes a variable speed control which lets you boost the air speed to shift particularly stubborn debris, or dial it down for a gentler action which helps to avoid disturbing other materials like gravel while ensuring the battery will keep going for even longer.
