4mm Stainless Steel Quick Links – For Wire Rope & Chain Coupling Pack of 2 Overview – It is often the case that wire ropes aren’t supplied in very long lengths due to the difficulty in shipping huge reels of steel cable. Quick links are used to attach 2 lengths of wire rope cable or chains together securely. Our stainless steel quick links are incredibly tough, can be used in an outdoor environment and are very easy to install. How to install – Take 2 lengths of wire rope (or 2 chains) preferably with thimbles on the end. Unscrew the hex bit until there is a wide enough gap to feed your cables though. Now overlap the thimbles, place inside of the quick link and tighten up the hex bolt.
