A High Efficiency Particulate Arrestance (HEPA) filter is washable to allow for reuse, & will effectively prevent particles as small as 0.3 microns from being released into the local atmosphere. The D25303DH's independent motor powers the air intake separately from the hammer action of your drill, meaning that not only is there no impairment of the tool's performance, but extraction efficiency is consistent irrespective of the hammer speed.
