The Rustins Quick-Dry heat resistant black paint is perfect for all of your painting needs around the house and garden. With its heat resistance, it can be painted onto wood or metal which sees temperatures up to 2200c. Which will make it ideal for BBQs, Firepits frames, or any metal workaround. The paint is a water-based water-borne cross-linking acrylic resin. Please note it is not for use on wood-burning stoves. Questions and Answers. How long is the drying time? 30 minutes to touch dry and 2 hours till recoat. How much will this tin cover? 6-7 Sq.m. Per 500ml. How do I clean the brush afterwards?
