Dulux is a world leader in supplying quality colour to trade and public. The Dulux Trade range offers you a solvent-based primer for sealing internal and external wood surfaces. Primers are used to seal the surface before painting, to reduce absorption of subsequent paint layers into the surface. This primer can be used on all types of wood and aged creosoted or bitumen coated surfaces. It can also be used on resinous timber and is the ideal primer for use on fire damaged wood after a thorough washing down.Coverage of up to 17m² per litre on most surfaces.

Allow 24 hours between coats for aged creosoted or bitumen coated surfaces Thinning: Do not thinSystem information For best results make sure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry. New surfaces particularly must be fully dry STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. After suitable surface preparation, apply 1 or 2 coats of the Aluminium Wood Primer Apply 2 coats over highly resinous wood or when using over aged creosote or bitumen, allowing 24 hours between coats Allow to dry for a minimum of 6 hours and then apply an appropriate Dulux Trade finishing system. After use, remove as much paint as possible from brushes before cleaning with white spirit For Health and Safety reasons related to all solvent-based paints, spray application is not recommended
