Flechtwerk – a designer floor lamp with a graphite-coloured spherical lampshade made using a 3D printer

The Flechtwerk designer floor lamp is distinguished by its fabulous lighting, which makes it hard to take your eyes off the light. The light shines out through all sides of the round spherical lampshade through a chessboard-like structure. As a result, an effective interplay between light and shade is created all around the floor lamp. The light makes a great addition to an atmospheric ambience and encourages all present to sit back and relax. It is not suitable for general lighting but can be used as an extra light for good all-round illumination in the room.

It is also worth noting that the German-made lampshade of the designer floor lamp is not made using conventional methods; instead, it is produced using a 3D printer, which makes this unique design possible.

Flechtwerk’s lampshade is also made of innovative biomaterial. This material is lightweight, stable and wipe-clean, and is also produced using sustainable production methods from renewable raw materials. Furthermore, 3D print technology means zero waste as there are no offcuts. The only material used is that required for the light itself. The design workshop is powered using green electricity and zero emissions.
