Designer Annex ceiling light with a crystal glass reflector and COB LEDs

The LED ceiling light designed by the product designer Uwe Fischer is characterised by clear, reduced shapes and a deliberate light output. For the manufacturer serien.lighting, he has designed a ceiling light which looks simple at first glance, but impresses with its intrinsic qualities when you look closer.

Conical shapes play a major role in Annex. Starting from a conical, translucent silicone moulded part, the light of the LEDs is emitted evenly towards the reflector. In this version of Annex, the reflector is made of faceted crystal glass which appears to be made to produce impressive lighting effects in the room. Both the crystal glass reflector and the external shell, which is made of handblown, clear glass, have a conical shape.

In addition to emitting this decorative light all around, the ceiling light also produces a light that is directed downwards, so you could call it a particularly decorative downlight. It is, therefore, suitable for both private and commercial use.

The designer light Annex is just one of many masterpieces by the Frankfurt-based product designer Uwe Fischer, who has a Chair of Industrial Design at the State Academy of Art and Design in Stuttgart and designs lights for the designer lighting manufacturer serien.lighting, amongst other things.

An external trailing edge dimmer can be used to dim Annex.
