Zoom – LED pendant light with an adjustable scissor design

It zooms in, it zooms out again. It opens and closes again. Are we talking about a camera aperture? Wrong! It is actually a pendant light that boasts these functions – although it has a lot in common with the zoom function of a camera and has certainly been inspired by it. An adjustable scissor arm construction that can be pulled apart and pushed together again, depending on the type of lighting required. Zoom is an adjustable and flexible masterpiece that can adopt a different diameter at any moment – from a small 20 cm when fully closed to a large 130 cm when fully opened. There is no size between these two measurements that Zoom cannot master. It should be noted that Zoom must be suspended at least 90 cm from the ceiling in its closed position in order to be able to achieve its maximum diameter.

Watching the intersecting and scissor-shaped stainless steel rods moving softly to change the overall shape of the light is certainly an impressive sight. Thanks to its great adaptability, the pendant light is suitable for almost any size room: It can be used in its closed position without the brightness level seeming too bright. Zoom features 20 built-in high-power LEDs, which are hidden within. These LEDs can be dimmed. All you need to be able to adjust the brightness of the light is a leading or trailing edge dimmer.

This impressive pendant light is not suspended from one cord but from twenty. They hang from each point on the scissor construction so that Zoom is always reliably held in a horizontal position. Zoom is almost like a modern chandelier – although it doesn't need a fancy room to look fabulous. It can be integrated into almost any living room where it will stand as the highlight.
