The Little Sun Charge solar light is the most powerful light in the Little Sun series. It is both a light source and a charger for mobile phones, MP3 players etc. as it comes with a USB port. The powerful integrated battery can be charged by sunlight within about 7.5 hours. If the sun isn’t shining, it can be charged by a USB cable at a power point. You can use the integrated switch to check the battery status and to set the light to three different levels of light output (75 lumens, 25 lumens or 8 lumens).

Little Sun Charge was designed by Ólafur Eliasson and brings the power of the sun to mobile phones, cameras, e-readers etc. or emits light - the perfect companion for camping, festivals or free time. The robust solar light is made of recyclable plastic and is weatherproof and UV-resistant. It can also be used as a table lamp with the stand that is available as an accessory.

Founded in 2012 by the artist Ólafur Eliasson and Frederik Ottesen, Little Sun aims to provide clean, cost-effective light to regions that do not have access to electricity distribution networks in order to give people there the opportunity to abandon the hazardous and harmful light sources that are powered by kerosene and other flammable substances. Every Little Sun product that is sold in developed countries allows Little Sun products to be sold at a reduced price in rural Africa and other regions without electricity.
