The shape of the Syss pendant luminaire has been reduced to the essentials, yet it has a harmonious effect. It consists of a cylindrical shade that tapers slightly towards the bottom, is closed off at the top and has an opening at the bottom. Through the latter, the light of the lamp to be inserted inside can escape directly. The opal glass with its elegant, shiny surface also ensures diffuse light emission all around the sides and upwards. The shade is attached to the hand-brushed aluminium canopy with a slender wire. Especially above tables and counters, in the private living room as well as in the café, Syss finds the ideal place of application individually or with several specimens.
