Next, place the adaptor on the threads and press the slider. Slide it to fix the adaptor to the threading. Once that’s done, you’re ready to attach a hose. If you move the slider in the opposite direction, the adaptor will be loosened and can be pulled off easily. The adaptor is compatible with all conventional taps with M 24 x 1 female or M 22 x 1 male threading (not suitable for unpressurised or low-pressure water heaters).

The tap connector is especially useful when transferring large amounts of water, for example when filling an aquarium or a paddling pool.
