The Salotto floor lamp is made with a graceful frame, at the upper end of which is a joint from which two arms emerge in a Y-shape. The large, present black shade is attached to one arm. A fine rope is attached to this arm, which runs down the other, free arm and ends with a kind of weighting pendulum. This in turn ensures that the umbrella is balanced. The height of the umbrella can also be slightly varied by the joint with counterweight.

In order to skilfully set the floor lamp in scene, it was decorated with well thought-out, golden details. The barely translucent shade has been given a golden colouring on the inside to make the light appear particularly warm. The light beam is mainly directed downwards and illuminates the immediate area under the shade, making Salotto particularly suitable for reading above the living room armchair. It is easy to operate thanks to the cable with foot switch.
