The stable, cylindrical base is slightly offset from the umbrella by a fine connecting rod, which is shaped like a hemisphere. The shade is open at the bottom, which means that light is only emitted downwards. The light inside of the shade reflects the light outwards in warm tones.

An E14 socket is attached to the upper end of the connecting rod, into which any E14 lamp can be placed. Suggestions are available via the accessories.
