In the 1950s, the lack of industrial lighting forced Jean-Louis Domecq to design a model of his own that provided sufficient light, was robust and did not need the annoying power cables. The result was the Standard luminaire, the first product of the manufacturer Jieldé, which can now be found in private homes around the world under the name Loft. The Loft D9403 floor lamp is also part of this collection and is presented in the well-known design of the industrial style.

Just like the original, the Loft floor lamp promises its user a high degree of functionality. It can be swivelled with the help of the striking joints and the rotating mechanisms on the lamp head and base allow further adjustments. Around the lamp head there is a handle that allows easy positioning of the targeted light beam. The wide, solid lamp base also provides the necessary stability.
