The slender neck and the rather small head of the Loft D1200 floor lamp are rather reserved, yet the lamp is an optical highlight next to a couch or armchair. Its appearance is reminiscent of the industrial lamps of the last century, so that it enriches above all room concepts in industrial or vintage style. It also offers a high degree of flexibility with its striking joints on the luminaire neck and the rotating mechanisms on the luminaire head and base.

The design of the Loft D1200 floor lamp is a trademark of the French manufacturer Jieldé. This manufacturer already produced lamps for industrial use in the 50s and later also for private households. The ideas for the design of Loft are based on the first lamp by the founder and industrial designer Jean-Louis Domecq.
