The pendant Anemos was developed by Arik Levy for the lighting manufacturer Forestier. Levy is not only a designer, but also a photographer, video artist and technician. He has already developed products for renowned companies such as Samsung, Swarovski and Baccarat. In lighting technology, he works mainly for the French brand Forestier and the Spanish designer lamp manufacturer Vibia.
Levy has chosen a combination of light and dark, metal and wood for the Anemos luminaire models, which take their name from the Greek word for wind. The dark dome, which contains the lamp socket, is completed at the bottom by a basket-like shade made of light bamboo wood.
