A stylishly designed outdoor area of an idyllic restaurant or café - exactly here is the ideal place for the floor lamp Amphora, which is manufactured in Spain. But also spacious private outdoor areas and, of course, interiors are equally enriched by the luminaire designed in a valuable rattan look. Designed to fill its surroundings with a warm light, Amphora creates a Mediterranean ambience to feel good. The bulbous body of the lamp was hand-woven from a synthetic wickerwork at Bover's headquarters in Barcelona. In the middle of the wickerwork rests an ellipse made of polyethylene, inside which the two light sources are located - perfectly protected from any weather influences thanks to the IP65 protection rating. Starting from the ellipse, a multi-faceted light spreads through the wickerwork into the surroundings of the luminaire.

The name and shape of this decorative luminaire are reminiscent of ancient amphorae, which were already very popular in Roman times and in ancient Greece - not only as transport containers, but also for decorative purposes.

Since 1996, Joana Bover, the founder of the Spanish lighting manufacturer Bover, has remained true to her original vision. Always keeping the balance between quality and form, high-quality lighting objects are still created by hand in Barcelona today.
