Due to the shade made of PVC, the light is emitted glare-free to the environment. The illuminant can be selected according to the matching socket entirely according to the needs. With an external dimmer, the brightness can also be adjusted. The manufacturer recommends the use of LED lamps to avoid heat buildup in the shade. Designer Søren Refsgaard wanted the Shibui series of lamps to recall design elements of the 1950s and also to create a reference to Japanese minimalism. The goal was to create a collection with Le Klint DNA, yet with its own character.
